At the Avian Conservation Institute, we are committed to providing education and conservation resources to support bird owners, conservationists, and young learners. Our mission is to promote avian welfare by offering valuable tools, knowledge, and guidance to the avian community.
Welcome to Our Parrot Sanctuary!
At our A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit sanctuary, we provide a safe and loving home to over 30 parrots, including vibrant macaws, intelligent cockatoos, charismatic amazons, and two rare Hyacinth Macaws. Alongside our feathered residents, we also care for a majestic Eurasian Eagle Owl and several horses.
Our sanctuary is 100% volunteer-run, and for the past 50 years, Yvonne—the heart and soul of our mission—has dedicated her life to training and hosting events to support these beautiful birds. Now, as she transitions to full-time sanctuary management, she and the birds need your help!
